Wonderful 1960s hostess gown done in a gold toned metallic green! The fabric is quite interesting -it is a lame cross woven with a knit that just peeks out in between the thatching. This really gives it an interesting and unusual texture that I love! Cut caftan mixed with kimono style it is a true dress in that is does not open all the way up. The sleeves are wide and it has a somewhat structured A-line feel to to it. Excellent condition!
Fully lined in a pale green silky rayon. It closes with a front painted metal zipper from the waist down that is hidden under the green detailing. Above the waist it closes with the the frog knot at the waist and hidden snaps. There is a slight "fuzziness" to the fabric that is natural to the fabric and should not be considered a flaw. Hidden pockets along the side seam
